Grass mites, or autumn grass mites, are a widespread problem in dogs. The tiny ectoparasites live on grasses and can infest the four-legged friends while walking.
An infestation with autumn grass mites causes severe itching in affected dogs. Excessive scratching can also cause wounds and skin inflammation. For this reason, it is important to take prompt action against the grass mites or, ideally, to prevent your dog from being attacked from the outset.
