Chicken contains relatively much potassium (approx. 260 mg/100 g) and zinc (approx. 1 mg/100 g). Potassium strengthens the nerves and the heart muscle. Zinc is good for the immune system. The B vitamins contained in poultry meat ensure a beautiful coat. Chicken is particularly captivating because of its low-fat meat and the B vitamins replenish the often robbed stores. Chicken meat also contains a lot of magnesium, which is good for the heart and muscle functions. Chicken meat also contains the most folic acid of all poultry species. This vitamin protects against arteriosclerosis and prevents miscarriages in bitches and malformations in puppies.
Sweet potatoes contain a lot of natural folic acid. The sweet potato also contains vitamins B2, B6, E and H, which are also known as biotin. The minerals and trace elements iron, manganese and copper are also found in the tuber.
Carrot low calorie content, but at the same time many vitamins, minerals and fiber. Carotenoids, which are converted into vitamin A in the body, are healthily valuable. Carotenoids have numerous health-promoting properties, including an antioxidant effect.
Apple contains about 30 vitamins and about as many minerals and trace elements. Important vitamins in apples are among others provitamin A, vitamin B1, B2 and B6, a lot of vitamin C, vitamin E as well as niacin and folic acid.
Cranberries contain minerals such as iron, potassium and sodium, but also an abundance of vitamins and thus antioxidants that keep cell-destroying free radicals in check and neutralise them. The most important of these, however, are the secondary plant substances they contain, among them the so-called proanthocyanidins. These antioxidants slow down the cell aging process and protect against diseases.
Salmon oil can help with joint, skin and coat problems as well as cardiovascular diseases and offers almost the same benefits as human oil.
